If you catch my drift

The next time we get a drifting snow I want to strategically
place items in my yard as an artistic impression.

What was your first Bible experience?

My dad shared his. He kept hearing people say "The bible says" so he decided to read it for himself. He found one in the sears catalog for 17cents. After getting it and noticing it had Ruth and Esther he wondered if he had the wrong one because he hadn't heard about any women in the bible. But after comparing it to their family bible he saw it had them also. Thus began his bible experience.

My older sister Carol gave me a bible in 6th. grade. It was when I began reading it on my own somewhat consistently. I later found a similar copy at a garage sale and bought it for sentimental reasons.

Reading Rambles

I must have been in a specific mood when I last went to the library I was half way thru the second book when I noticed the similarities.
I don't really recommend either one of those books. However this one kept my interest.

Support your local sheriff

Well in order not to be a one blog wonder I am back.
I shared at Bible study Fellowship how I felt like a jailer
with the 2 year olds. They did not want to be there or do the
things I made them do. So today my leader brought me one of these
to wear.
God has brought us along though. They smile and say my very favorite
word "again".

Pal'n around with Palin

After recently telling my mom that one shouldn't follow the candidate but the ideals, then Palin comes along. She is the first candidate I can relate to.
  • Her parent was a teacher.
  • She has 5 kids
  • The oldest and youngest are boys
  • She likes Hockey(I lost my front teeth in a hockey game)
  • She talks like a real person.
  • She is in her 40s
  • She is considered a featherweight
However there are some stark differences Eden is not pregnant and I am no beauty queen.
